Full Description
Architectural Drafter - U.S. Building Codes (100% Remote – Latin America)
Are you a highly precise Architectural Drafter with deep expertise in AutoCAD and U.S. construction standards? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team fully remote from Latin America.
In this role, your focus will be entirely on technical production and executing flawless, construction-ready drawing sets—no design work is required. If you know wood-frame construction inside and out and are highly efficient with U.S. imperial units, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Documentation: Prepare complete construction drawing sets (structural drawings, roof plans, sections, and documentation) for residential, multifamily, and small commercial projects.
Code Compliance: Review site plans and ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes and zoning regulations (specifically New York standards).
Quality Control: Deliver highly accurate, detailed, and construction-ready drawings independently.
Collaboration: Manage revisions, coordinate closely with internal teams, and meet project deadlines.
Logistics & Schedule
Work Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Choose between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST.
Work Model: 100% Fully Remote.
Technical & Workspace Requirements
To ensure professional service and operational continuity, all candidates must provide:
-
High-Speed Internet: Reliable, high-speed connectivity for uninterrupted video and data tasks.
-
Power Redundancy: Stable electricity during all shifts; a backup power solution (UPS, power station, or generator) is required in areas prone to outages.
-
Dedicated Workspace: A private, quiet home office free from background noise (family, pets, or street noise) to maintain a professional environment.
