Requirements
Location: Must currently reside in a Latin American country.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Fire Sprinkler Design.
Software: Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing AutoSPRINK is strongly preferred (experience with HydraCAD or SprinkCAD is a plus).
Code Proficiency: In-depth understanding of fire protection standards, building codes, and complex hydraulic modeling.
Technical Skills: Proven background creating accurate fabrication and shop drawings.
Language: Advanced written and spoken English communication skills (C1/C2 level required for daily collaboration with US teams).
Work Ethic: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced setting.

Pay Rate: $8.00 per hour
Job Summary
A growing engineering firm is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler System Designer (AutoSPRINK Specialist) based in Latin America to join our remote technical team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with significant room for professional growth and career advancement.
The primary focus of this role is developing end-to-end fire sprinkler system designs, performing hydraulic calculations, creating detailed fabrication and shop drawings, and ensuring full compliance with relevant fire protection codes and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed, accurate fire sprinkler layout designs and shop drawings from architectural and MEP blueprints.
Perform precise hydraulic calculations and stock listing for fabrication and material procurement.
Collaborate effectively with other engineering trades, contractors, and internal project teams to resolve design overlaps.
Provide remote technical support during installation to resolve design-related field issues.
Assist project managers with material estimation and submittal preparations.
Ensure all system layouts meet applicable fire protection codes, standards, and strict quality assurance requirements.
